أعلن نادي إنتر ميلان الإيطالي، في بيان رسمي قبل قليل، تجديد عقد نجمه الأرجنتيني لاوتارو مارتينيز.

وبحسب البيان الرسمي، توصل إنتر ميلان لاتفاق مع لاوتارو، وجدد المهاجم الأرجنتيني عقده حتى يونيو 2026.

ووفقًا للتقارير الواردة، سيحصل لاوتارو على راتب 6 ملايين يورو في السنة بالإضافة للمكافآت.

وتم إلغاء الشرط الجزائي في عقد لاوتارو، والبالغ 111 مليون يورو، مما يعني أن أي ناد مهتم بالتعاقد معه في المستقبل سيحتاج إلى التفاوض بشأن رسوم الانتقال مع أبطال الدوري الإيطالي.

انضم لاوتارو إلى إنتر ميلان في صفقة بقيمة 25 مليون يورو من راسينج في عام 2018.

أحرز 54 هدفًا في 144 مباراة مع إنتر ميلان، وحاول كل من توتنهام وأتلتيكو مدريد التوقيع معه في الصيف، وكان محل اهتمام لبرشلونة.

فاز اللاعب البالغ من العمر 24 عامًا بأول لقب له مع إنتر ميلان، في الموسم الماضي عندما أصبح النيرازوري بطلًا للدوري الإيطالي.

David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady appear to have acknowledged their failings in the summer transfer market through West Ham United’s rumoured defence of signing Craig Dawson on loan from Watford.

What’s the word?

According to Irons insider ExWHUemployee, while speaking on the West Ham Way Podcast, the Hammers ownership were reluctant to commit to Dawson long-term this summer as they do not consider the Watford defender to be a first-choice option in David Moyes’ plans.

The east London outfit acquired Dawson following the closure of the international transfer market on a season-long deal, which is rumoured to include an option to buy next summer for around £2million.

West Ham were linked with a myriad of defensive options this summer but saw their efforts fail to result in done deals, with Burnley opposed to accepting bids worth up to £30m for James Tarkowski as the Clarets valued the England international at £50m, while Bayer Leverkusen were approached too late in the market to sell Jonathan Tah and Olympique de Marseille ace Deja Caleta-Car did not wish to leave the Ligue 1 outfit.

Dawson is yet to feature for West Ham since joining the London Stadium natives on loan, but could make his debut against Manchester City on Saturday with the 30-year-old in contention for a place in Moyes’ matchday squad.

If Moyes does include the Hornets loanee, it will likely only be among the substitutes, and come as his first chance to change opinions in east London with ExWHUemployee noting that fan unrest also played a key part in GSB’s reluctance to sanction a long-term deal.

“We ended up signing Craig Dawson, he is a Will Salthouse player as I’ve clarified before,” ExWHUemployee noted. “We were going to sign him on a permanent deal for around £2m. But we were only going to offer him a one or two-year contract and I think he had a three-year contract at Watford.

“And it proved quite hard to get him to sign when he knew he wouldn’t get a contract the same length as the one he had. Also, because there was quite a lot of negativity from the West Ham fans, the club erred on the side of caution and thought: ‘right we’ll get him on loan, he’s probably only going to be a back-up anyway’.”

GSB acknowledged their failings

Having failed in so many attempted swoops this summer, Gold, Sullivan and Brady could easily have opted to award Dawson a contract matching the length of his Watford terms in order to add depth to Moyes’ backline.

However, they appear to have acknowledged their failings in securing a first-choice option and decided best to only acquire Dawson on a temporary deal as the move offers the east London outfit an easy out in 2021 should the Watford loanee fail to establish himself.

The decision also prevented GSB from facing greater fan unrest following the protests seen outside of the London Stadium on the opening day, as they did not commit to keeping a player supporters were opposed to signing but without leaving Moyes weak in defence.

Had Dawson been signed permanently, West Ham may have found themselves in a position next summer where they need to sell the 30-year-old in order to sign the first-choice option they hoped to land this year, as the Watford man would be taking up wages and a squad place he may not deserve – a situation which would surely have angered the Irons faithful.

وأكمل: “الأهلي في الفترة الأخيرة لم يسير بشكل جيد وتغيير طريقة اللعب لأكثر من مرة سواء أمام الإسماعيلي أو البنك الأهلي، لدرجة المباراة الأخيرة مانت الأمور صعبة وهذا جعل جماهير الأهلي تشعر أنه قد يحدث تغييرًا، وهذا لم يكن يحدث في القلعة الحمراء”.

واردف: “إنما في نادي الزمالك لو قلت لأي أحد ما تشكيل الفريق، سيقوله بنسبة 90% والتغيير يكون في لاعب واحد فقط”.

وزاد “من وجهة نظري الشخصية هي مباراة صعبة في كل الأحوال، ومباريات القمة الذي يكون موفقًا وخاصة في البداية ويستطيع أن يحرز هدفًا، ينال الثقة”.

وعن غياب شيكابالا عن القمة: “هو لاعب كبير ومؤثر وبالفترة الأخيرة كان مميزا جدًا في مباريات الأهلي تحديدًا، ولكن شيكابالا في اعتقادي الشخصي إيقافه أخذ فترة طويلة جدًا، والجماهير كانت تحب تواجده، واللاعبين المتواجدين سيكون لهم تأثير قوي جدًا، لأن معظمهم يعتمد على المهارة”.

من الأفضل في خط الهجوم الجزيري أم السعيد؟: “السعيد يختلف عن الجزيري، الأخير يعتمد دائمًا على الاختراق في المساحات خلف خط الدفاع والسرعات، لكن السعيد يمتاز بضربات الرأس وقادر على الوقوف على الكرة”.

وواصل: “كارتيرون يضع نظاما يسير به دائمًا، لم يشرك الجزيري في المباراة الماضية في اعتقادي سيبدأ بسيف أمام الأهلي والسعيد سيكون متواجدًا على دكة البدلاء، حيث يريد لاعب متحرك بين الخطوط”.

وأختتم: “الزمالك سيفوز على الأهلي بهدفين مقابل هدف”.

Leeds United are never far from a bit of drama, and despite a transfer window that seemed to mostly go swimmingly, the Whites still managed to find time for a gripping transfer saga that all went wrong.

Of course, we’re talking about the failed signing of Michael Cuisance.

The French midfielder seemed set to come to Elland Road on a permanent deal, but complications with his medical saw the deal fall apart at the 11th hour.

Unfortunately, Leeds won’t get the chance to revisit this one in January as he’s already found himself a new club, joining Marseille on loan, with the French club holding the option to buy him.

To make matters even worse, he’s been solid since joining the French outfit.

The 21-year-old may not have any goals or assists to his name as of yet, but he has been brilliant in a defensive sense, something his Leeds counterpart Mateusz Klich has struggled with.

We’ve covered Klich’s defensive problems in some depth before, but to cut a long story short, his main issue is that he’s dribbled past far too often.

Indeed, the Pole is dribbled past 2.7 times per game, making him the second-most dribbled past player in the division, but while Klich is struggling in that area, Cuisance is thriving.

It’s rare to see Cuisance taken on, with the Frenchman being dribbled past just once per game, and it’s not as if he’s one to shy away from putting a foot in either, making three tackles per game this season.

It has to sting to see Cuisance thriving where Klich is coming up short.

There was plenty of disappointment for everyone associated with the club when the initial deal fell through, perfectly highlighted by Noel Whelan’s comments at the time:

“Disappointment because I think everyone was getting quite excited, 21-years-old from Bayern Munich, big prospect so on that front, very disappointing. It is a setback, absolutely.”

Leeds fans can only be left wondering what could have been after missing out on their man.

Chris Kirkland has slammed Everton for not making, or potentially allowing, Jordan Pickford to apologise for his challenge on Liverpool central defender Virgil Van Dijk.

Speaking to This Is Futbol, the former Premier League goalkeeper was questioned why he thinks the England number one has not been come out to apologise to Van Dijk following the challenge, and was also asked if he thought the lack of an apology was perhaps down to the bitter rivalry between the two Merseyside clubs.

Kirkland said:

“It’s not helped Jordan. I’m really disappointed with Everton and would like to know the reason why they’ve not come out and let him have his say.

“If it is [down to the rivalry between both clubs], they’re bang out of order and they’re a disgrace, basically. I’d hope not, but if that was the case [and] why they’ve done it then, shocking, shocking.”

Pickford has received a lot of criticism

Indeed, Pickford has received a lot of criticism following his challenge on Van Dijk, which went unpunished in the game and also went without any retrospective action taken after the match.

Not only was the 26-year-old slammed by his own fans following the tackle, but his action also struck the nerves of former top flight football players like Tony Cascarino and Frank McAvennie.

Teammates of Van Dijk and fellow ‘keepers Adrian and Alisson were also very critical of Pickford, who faced a fierce media backlash after the derby.

Should Pickford be allowed to come out and apologise?

Indeed, the question now is whether Pickford should come out and apologise for his challenge on Van Dijk.

While the Dutch international suffered a rather severe injury from the challenge, these things do happen in football, and the game was a few weeks ago now.

Some Blues may feel that while the challenge was a bad one, perhaps the whole situation should just be dropped so that all parties involved can now solely focus on the matches that they have got ahead.

Leeds United were linked with a plethora of players during the summer, ranging from potential Ben White replacements to strikers that could maybe usurp Patrick Bamford.

And to be fair to the Premier League newcomers, they did some smart pieces of business, so much so that they avoided an absolute financial catastrophe along the way.

The Sun’s Alan Nixon reported at the end of August that the Whites were keen admirers of Liverpool outcast Harry Wilson, who the defending champions wanted around £20m for.

He is a player that Leeds director of football Victor Orta is said to rate “very highly,” as per Phil Hay at The Athletic.

The 23-year-old Welshman had no permanent suitors at that jaw-dropping price, which is hardly a surprise, and has now since gone out on loan to the Championship once again.

You get the feeling that he just isn’t going to make it in the big-time just yet as his switch to Cardiff is his fifth temporary spell away from Anfield since 2015, and his third in the English second-flight.

It is true that his spell in the Welsh capital is going to plan, he has contributed two goals and two assists in eight starts whilst also averaging 2.4 key passes, two shots and 0.8 dribbles per game playing primarily as a right-winger or through the middle, via WhoScored.

However, United need to make the £15m investment in Helder Costa work, on top of the obvious value that Jack Harrison holds as the Yorkshiremen can sign him permanently for a fraction of Wilson’s mooted fee at £10m.

Wilson has also continued to feature on the international stage, leading to former Wales star Dave Edwards lauding the speedster as “unplayable at times.”

Although, the Elland Road tenants have added further depth in wide areas, signing Ian Poveda in January and then Raphinha this summer. It very much would be hard to foresee where a player like Wilson would fit in under Marcelo Bielsa.

Orta dodged an almighty bullet here.

Os gols de Jairzinho pelo Botafogo seguem na memória de Dorvino Tomaz da Silva. Faz tempo, mas especialmente entre o fim dos anos 1960 e o início dos anos 1970, o lavrador alvinegro frequentava o Maracanã. E garante que o “Furacão da Copa” comemorava com ele alguns gols, na arquibancada. Agora, décadas depois, ele recebe o abraço de Jair Ventura, auxiliar técnico do time e filho do craque.

– Hoje, ele não lembra de mim. Mas é um amigo. Ele fazia o gol e me abraçava. Era muito legal – lembra Dorvino, de 86 anos, ao LANCE!. À época, no Rio, ele trabalhava como pedreiro.

O senhor que assiste aos treinos do Alvinegro com seu chapéu preto lembra também de Ferretti e Rogério, dois companheiros de Jairzinho que também deram alegrias ao Glorioso. Dorvino mora em Vitor Hugo, distrito de Domingos Martins, onde a equipe de Ricardo Gomes faz a pré-temporada. E o outro lado do abraço também ficou feliz de ver a genética dele fazendo alguém feliz.
