وقالت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “حقق ريال مدريد بطولة عالمية أخرى في مجموعته الهائلة العامرة بالألقاب، حيث يُعد ذلك اللقب هو الثامن له في كأس العالم للأندية، حيث سبق وأن فاز بثلاثة ألقاب من تلك البطولة عندما كانت بمسمى إنتركونتيننتال، وخمسة منذ أن ابتكر فيفا نظام كأس العالم للأندية”.

وأضافت: “وحقق كارلو أنشيلوتي ثلاثة ألقاب من تلك البطولة، كمدرب، بالإضافة إلى لقبين عندما كان لاعبًا في ميلان، وقاد ريال مدريد الآن إلى وضع النجمة الثامنة على القميص، رغم رغبة الهلال في العودة إلى المباراة بعدما قلص النتيجة ثلاث مرات، إلا أن ريال مدريد فرض قانون الأقوى في المباراة النهائية”.

من جانبها، قالت صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية: “لم يترك ريال مدريد أي مجال لعنصر المفاجأة وامتثل لسيناريو كونه الطرف الأوفر حظًا للفوز في نهائي كأس العالم للأندية أمام الهلال، الذي لم يكن يريد أن يخسر ماء وجهه في تلك المباراة، ولكن ريال مدريد نجح في النهاية في رفع كأس العالم للأندية للمرة الخامسة في تاريخه، والثامنة إذا وضعنا في الاعتبار النسخة القديمة من البطولة”.

وأردفت: “وعلى الرغم من الأخطاء الدفاعية التي ارتكبها لاعبو ريال مدريد، إلا أن الفريق تمكن في النهاية من الحفاظ على تقدمه أمام الخصم، ورفع في النهاية الكأس في سماء الرباط”.

أما صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية فقالت: “حقق ريال مدريد بطولة كأس العالم للأندية للمرة الخامسة في تاريخه، واحتاج إلى أكثر ما يلزم من أجل السيطرة على المباراة أمام الهلال، حيث بقى الأخير على قيد الحياة لفترات من المباراة، ولكن ثنائية فينيسيوس وفالفيردي، إلى جانب هدف كريم بنزيما كانت عبئًا ثقيلا على الفريق السعودي”.

واستكملت: “ويواصل ريال مدريد، بهذا اللقب، توسيع الفارق في صدارة قائمة الهدافين بكأس العالم للأندية، ويبتعد عن نادي برشلونة صاحب الألقاب الثلاثة فقط”.

وقالت صحيفة “ذا صن” الإنجليزية: “توج ريال مدريد بكأس العالم للأندية بعد فوه على الهلال بنتيجة 5-3، في نهائي ممتع، حيث فشل الفريق السعودي في إبقاء خصمه الإسباني في مأزق، رغم تقليصهم النتيجة أكثر من مرة طوال المباراة”.

واستكملت: “وحقق رجال كارلو أنشيلوتي أول ألقابهم هذا الموسم رغم تأخرهم بفارق 8 نقاط عن برشلونة في سباق الليجا، مع العلم أنهم فازوا سابقًا بكأس العالم للأندية 4 مرات بين عامي 2014 و2018”.

واستطردت: “ويأمل لوس بلانكوس أن يؤدي الفوز باللقب اليوم إلى تحقيق النجاح في دوري أبطال أوروبا، حيث يستعدون لمواجهة ليفربول في دور الـ16 في وقت لاحق من هذا الشهر”.

في حين قالت صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية: “فاز ريال مدريد بكأس العالم للأندية للمرة الخامسة، وهو رقم قياسي، بعدما فاز على الهلال بنتيجة 5-3 في المغرب ومنع الفريق السعودي من الحصول على مكآفات مالية وفيرة”.

وتابعت: “وكان ريال مدريد قد توجه إلى مباراة النهائي كمرشح قوي للفوز، ولكن كتيبة كارلو أنشيلوتي عانت في الأونة الأخيرة بعد فوزهم في مباراتين فقط من آخر سبع مباريات، قبل انتصارهم على الأهلي المصري في نصف نهائي البطولة بنتيجة 4-1”.

وأوضحت: “انتصار ريال مدريد يعني أن الهلال فشل في حصد جائزة كبيرة قدرها 222 ألف جنيه إسترليني لكل لاعب، والتي رصدها الملياردير السعودي الوليد بن طلال آل سعود”.

وترى صحيفة “ديلي ميل” الإنجليزية أن: “أداء ريال مدريد لم يكن مقنعًا طوال المباراة أمام الهلال، ولكن من الصعب خسارة النهائي عندما تسجل 5 أهداف، وبدعم من فينيسوس الذي ظهر كقائد حقيقي للفريق الإسباني”.

كما تحدثت صحيفة “ليكيب” الفرنسية عن فوز ريال مدريد بالبطولة العالمية، حيث قالت: “توج ريال مدريد بكأس العالم للأندية للمرة الخامسة، كما أنه اللقب الـ100 في تاريخهم، بفضل فوزهم على الهلال بنتيجة 5-3 في نهائي الليلة”.

واستكملت: “وحصل ريال مدريد على اللقب، بعدما حققه تشيلسي في النسخة الماضية، لتصبح تلك هي المرة العاشرة على التوالي التي يفوز فيها ممثل أوروبي بهذا الكأس”.

Em resultados divididos em seis anos diferentes, Chulapa tem 70 jogos como comandante do Santos – a maioria deles como interino – e 33 vitórias, 20 empates e apenas 17 derrotas. Se em 1994 era, de fato, o técnico do clube, em 2001, 2005, 2007, 2009 e 2015 foi usado como interino.

Chulapa, desde que retornou ao clube, passou a ser usado como “bombeiro”, acionado em momentos específicos para dar soluções rápidas, enquanto a solução definitiva não chega. Na carreira, porém, o treinador vitorioso como santista, coleciona polêmicas.

Em 2001, primeira vez a voltar a ser treinador do Peixe, assumiu como interino após a demissão de Geninho, para ficar até o fim do Campeonato Brasileiro daquele ano. A última vez que atuou como interino do Santos foi em junho de 2015, quando venceu Tite na Vila Belmiro, em partida diante do Corinthians.

A sequência que o Santos inicia nesta quarta-feira é crucial para seu futuro na temporada. Os dois primeiros jogos serão importantes para afastar o time da parte de baixo da tabela do Campeonato Brasileiro – atualmente é o 15º colocado. Depois, contra o Cruzeiro, a partida é válida pelas oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. Sair na frente no jogo de ida pode fazer toda a diferença na busca pela classificação.

Alviro Petersen made a memorable return to Test cricket, and Jacques Kallis enjoyed his new-found batting freedom as South Africa made a merry mockery of Sri Lanka’s decision to bowl at Newlands. Kallis had a sense of occasion, converting his 114-ball century into a 150-plus score in his 150th Test. His first ton against Sri Lanka, and his first in a year, was all the more significant since it silenced murmurs of failing form following the first pair of his glittering career, in Durban.Kallis’ century reaffirmed his love affair with Cape Town, a venue where he now has nine Test hundreds and over 2000 runs. But one man who might be happier with his day’s work is Petersen, whose fluency during his second Test ton glossed over the fact that he was returning to the side after a year. The pair’s dominance yielded 205 runs in under 50 overs, and negated any advantage Sri Lanka had gained from Dhammika Prasad’s early breaches.Regardless of the ease with which South Africa progressed, there was merit in Sri Lanka’s call to bowl; their historic win in Durban did not mask their problems against pace and bounce, and was founded upon South Africa’s own abject batting display. Dilshan’s decision shielded his weaker suit, and gave his seamers the mandate to attack South Africa in marginally helpful weather. He was, however, let down by a sketchy plan of action, and conditions that quickly played into the batsmen’s hands. Sri Lanka were too full in the first hour, too short in the second, and all over the place in the afternoon, before tightening their act after tea.Smart stats

Jacques Kallis became the sixth player overall and the first South African to feature in 150 Tests. Among South African players, Mark Boucher is next with 144 matches.

Following his first pair in the Durban Test, Kallis scored his 41st century in his 150th Test. It is also his first century against Sri Lanka. Among batsmen with 10000-plus runs, Kallis has the highest average (56.98).

In the course of his innings, Kallis passed 2000 runs in Cape Town. He becomes only the third player after Mahela Jayawardene and Graham Gooch to score 2000-plus runs at a particular venue.

Kallis’ present strike rate of 73.95 is his third-highest for a 100-plus score. The highest is 74.44 during his 201 against India in Centurion in 2010.

Alviro Petersen, making his comeback, scored his second century in his 10th Test. He has now scored 681 runs at an average of 37.83.

The 205-run stand between Kallis and Petersen is the third-highest third-wicket stand for South Africa in Cape Town since their readmission. It is also South Africa’s best third-wicket stand against Sri Lanka.

Rangana Herath was the most economical bowler conceding just 63 runs off his 26 overs. The remaining bowlers conceded 282 runs in 64 overs (economy rate 4.40).

In between-times, though, Prasad managed to hit the in-between lengths. His ability to ramp the pace up to 140 kph – a rare feat in an attack missing Dilhara Fernando – earned him success against Graeme Smith and Hashim Amla. Both batsmen began well, but perished to familiar failings – Smith chopped on while attempting a reckless cut, and Amla was trapped in front as he walked across the stumps. Amla consulted with Petersen, and rightly chose not to review the decision. That wasn’t the only instance of Petersen’s solid judgement in his comeback innings.A couple of early drives down the ground and a nudge through square leg signalled that Petersen had carried his domestic form into the big league. Thereafter, he built steadily, before summoning the spirit to thrash Prasad over square leg for a six. He brought up his fifty with a brace of boundaries against Thisara Perera, before receding into the background.Kallis came out throwing punches in all directions, reminiscent of his half-century against Australia in the recent Johannesburg Test. He nearly pulled his fourth ball straight to fine-leg, where Chanaka Welegedara inexplicably didn’t go for the catch. Another pull off Angelo Mathews spiralled towards midwicket and landed safe. Encouraged, Mathews persisted with the short stuff, and Kallis pounded him into pulp with a raft of murderous pulls in front of square. Sri Lanka had missed their chance to nip him out early, and Kallis proceeded to enjoy himself.Sri Lanka’s discipline faltered dramatically after lunch. The early-morning moisture had evaporated, and with it all traces of sideways movement. Kallis rushed to his fifty off just 42 balls, and went on to expose their lack of pace, and Rangana Herath’s lack of spin on the first-day surface. A 21-over phase without a single maiden suggested Sri Lanka’s afternoon could not get any worse, but it did when they wasted both their reviews in desperation.Petersen’s signature shot was easily the straight drive, a shot he executed with an assured forward step and exemplary timing. Kallis, on the other hand, went on to produce shots of immense beauty in every direction. The punchy pulls gave way to picture-perfect cover drives and sublime straight hits, but the stroke that stood out was an astonishing whipped on-drive from the line of off stump when Thisara Perara was looking to angle one across defensively.That shot came after Petersen’s fall, sucked into an uppish drive by a Welegedara slower ball. The run-rate dropped below four for the first time in the 66th over, with de Villiers struggling to deal with Welegedara’s offcutters. Having batted out of his comfort zone all day, Kallis seamlessly shifted into accumulation mode and chugged past 150. The stand was worth 86 by stumps, leaving Sri Lanka wondering if they had lost the Test even before it had started.

– Sempre deixei muito claro que o Corinthians tinha essa forma de jogar (sem centroavante de origem) bem definida, que não era necessário treinar isso na preparação porque já tinha essa formação bem estabelecida desde o primeiro semestre. Claro que são jogadores novos, e a gente ganha possibilidades. Com os retornos do Roger e do Jonathas, ainda tem o Matheus Matias, o Emerson Sheik que entrou no final contribuindo… Acho que temos bastante possibilidades. Depois de sofrer com lesões, suspensões e a ausência de atletas pelos mais diversos motivos, o técnico Diego Aguirre viverá uma situação inusitada na próxima quinta, quando o São Paulo enfrenta o Colón, da Argentina, no jogo de volta da segunda fase da Copa Sul-Americana. Para esta partida, a comissão técnica do Tricolor não terá ninguém no departamento médico e apenas Brenner, suspenso pelo cartão vermelho, será desfalque.

Após recuperar Rodrigo Caio de uma cirurgia no pé esquerdo e Edimar de um entorse no tornozelo esquerdo, o departamento médico do São Paulo ficou vazio. Atualmente, apenas o zagueiro Lyanco – jogador do Torino, da Itália – trabalha no Reffis do CT da Barra Funda.

Sendo assim, dos 24 jogadores que o clube tem à sua disposição para o torneio organizado pela Conmebol, 23 deles (exceção ao garoto Brennner) têm condições de viajarem para Santa Fé. A diversidade de opções tem sido um fato raro para o São Paulo nesta temporada.

O problema, porém, é que o regulamento da competição permite que apenas 18 atletas sejam relacionados para a partida. Desta forma, o técnico Diego Aguirre terá que pensar bastante para formar seu banco de reservas. Afinal, o duelo com os argentinos exigirá muito do São Paulo, que precisa reverter a derrota, por 1 a 0, sofrida no Morumbi.

Diante deste contexto, a comissão técnica pode até levar dois nomes que não aparecem na lista do São Paulo há alguns bons jogos: o zagueiro Rodrigo Caio e o lateral Régis. Ambos foram reintegrados ao elenco e treinam normalmente com o restante dos atletas do Tricolor.
