تحدث الإيطالي كارلو أنشيلوتي، المدير الفني لفريق ريال مدريد الإسباني، عن إصابة لاعبه كريم بنزيما والتي تعرض لها أمام ريال سوسيداد في المباراة التي جمعت الفريقين مساء السبت.

وتعرض بنزيما للإصابة في وقت مبكر من مباراة ريال مدريد وريال سوسيداد وتم استبداله في الدقيقة 17 وشارك لوكا يوفيتش بديلاً له.

وقال أنشيلوتي في تصريحاته التي نشرتها صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية عقب المباراة: “بنزيما عانى من آلام وإنزعاج ولم يرغب في استكمال المباراة”.

وأضاف: “سيخضع لفحص طبي، ولا أعتقد بأن كريم سيتواجد ضد إنتر ميلان يوم الثلاثاء ولكنه ربما يكون معنا في الديربي يوم الأحد أمام أتلتيكو مدريد”.

وتغلب ريال مدريد على ريال سوسيداد بهدفين نظيفين ضمن مباريات الجولة 16 للدوري الإسباني “الليجا”.

ويلتقي ريال مدريد يوم الثلاثاء القادم مع إنتر ميلان، في الجولة السادسة والأخيرة لدور المجموعات بدوري أبطال أوروبا، ويلعب الفريقان المتأهلان لدور الـ16، على صدارة المجموعة.

ثم يستعد فريق أنشيلوتي للديربي أمام أتلتيكو مدريد يوم 12 ديسمبر الجاري في منافسات الدوري الإسباني.

If you had told Aston Villa fans before the start of the new Premier League season that they would have beaten both Liverpool and Arsenal at an aggregate of 10-2, then they surely would have thought you were crazy.

But such has been the incredible start that Dean Smith’s side have enjoyed, that they find themselves in sixth place in the table, and only three points behind current leaders Leicester – that too, with a game in hand on the Foxes.

On Saturday, Villa return to top-flight action after the two-week international break, with Graham Potter’s Brighton standing in their way. Smith has largely gone for a settled side this season, and who can blame him, but he might want to freshen things up against the Seagulls.

And with that in mind, below is a look at how the Midlands club line up for the visit of Brighton.

After helping to keep a clean sheet against his former side last time out, Emiliano Martinez will hope to continue his impressive start to life at Villa.

In front of him, a back four of Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings and Matt Targett have played a crucial role in ensuring high-scoring Villa have also been one of the meanest teams in the league too. Their tally of just nine goals conceded from their opening seven league games is the joint-best in the division.

The first big call Smith must surely consider making, is the dropping of John McGinn. The Scotland international has looked nothing like his old self, and with Marvelous Nakamba waiting in the wings to make his mark, this could be the perfect time for that change to happen.

Douglas Luiz on the other hand continues to see his star grow, but has played an incredible number of minutes this season for both club and country, and Smith may wonder if a rest against Brighton could do the £24.3m-rated star the world of good when it comes to the crunch winter schedule in the Premier League.

If that’s the case, Conor Hourihane may fancy his chances of making a rare start after playing in mid-week for the Republic of Ireland.

In attack, there’s no reason to make any changes for Smith, with the likes of Jack Grealish, Ross Barkley, Trezeguet and Ollie Watkins all in fine fettle this season.

Predicted XI: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett; Nakamba, Hourihane; Trezeguet, Barkley, Grealish; Watkins.

وتحدث مبابي عن مستقبله مع شبكة “TNT Sports” البرازيلية، وقال: “لا أعرف ماذا سيحدث حتى الآن”.

وتابع: “أنا هنا في باريس سان جيرمان، قلت من قبل إنني حظيت بخمسة أعوام رائعة في هذا النادي”.

وأضاف: “استمتعت بكل لحظة وما زلت أفعل ذلك، بالتأكيد، ستأتي الكثير من الأشياء العظيمة في المستقبل وتحدثت عن ذلك بالفعل من قبل”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “لقد حدثت الكثير من الأشياء لي في الصيف الماضي بداية من ركلة الجزاء الضائعة (أمام سويسرا في يورو 2020)، ثم عدم الانتقال في الميركاتو ولكن كلها اختبارات تجعلني أقوى لأن كل ما لدي هو العمل الجاد”.

وعن تصريحاته في أكتوبر الماضي عن رغبته في الرحيل: “تفرغ ما بداخلك، تساعدك قليلًا على التركيز لأنك ترد على الشائعات ولذلك أنا أكثر سعادة الآن”.

وكان مبابي قد صرح من قبل أنه قد طلب من إدارة باريس سان جيرمان الموافقة على رحيله إلى ريال مدريد خلال شهر يوليو الماضي ورفضوا بعد ذلك عرضًا من ريال مدريد مقابل 180 مليون يورو.

The Daily Express is reporting that Daniel Levy refused to sell Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele for anything less than £54m during the summer.

Levy wants good return on Ndombele

Ndombele made the move to Spurs from Lyon last year, costing the club around €60m (£53.8m).

After a disappointing first season with the Lilywhites, there were rumours the France international could leave – Internazionale were linked with a move for him. However, tough negotiator Levy refused to let him go for anything below £54m. As such, he remained in north London for the new campaign.

Mourinho trusting Ndombele

In his first campaign at the club, the 23-year-old struggled. He made just 29 appearances in all competitions, and he was heavily criticised by Mourinho. Had he left, his departure would have been far from surprising.

This term, though, he has worked his way back into Mourinho’s plans, even standing out as one of the manager’s key men. He has been involved in all  five Premier League matches so far, and has been on the end of plenty of praise from the club’s supporters and the manager himself. Finally, he is starting to show why Spurs spent a club-record fee to sign him – and it seems that Levy’s tough stance is to thank for that.

Leeds United’s transfer window has been incredibly exciting.

The Whites have signed some absolutely massive names, breaking their transfer record on a Spain international (Rodrigo), while also bringing in a La Liga regular (Diego Llorente) and a German international (Robin Koch).

However, at the beginning of the summer, we weren’t expecting these types of moves.

Indeed, Phil Hay’s initial report on United’s transfer plans ahead of this season stated that the bulk of the club’s business would be centred around signing the best players from the Championship, but as of yet, we’ve not seen any activity that backs that up.

With Hay being one of the most well-connected journalists covering Leeds, we believe that there is at least an element of truth to his report, and if United had a number of Championship players on their radar, they could do worse than reverting back to that original plan if deadline day doesn’t go their way.

If Leeds fail to bolster all the areas they want to strengthen on Monday, they still have until October 16th to do deals with EFL clubs, and that could be a handy extension for the Whites, especially if they have done a lot of scouting and analysis on some top Championship players.

Todd Cantwell, Said Benrahma and Emi Buendia are three that have been linked previously, and with those players yet to leave either Norwich or Brentford, the Whites may yet swoop before the domestic deadline later this month.

Of course, this may largely be dependent on whether or not deadline day goes Leeds’ way, at the moment it looks as though they’re going to sign a winger in the shape of Raphinha, but as the Michael Cuisance deal showed last week, anything can happen with these deals.

Mesmo com a vitória sobre o Avaí por 3 a 1, o Fluminense segue em último no segundo turno, com 13 pontos.

Key Information about Aviva Stadium

Aviva Stadium, also known as Lansdowne Road or Ireland’s Stadium is the multi-purpose home ground of the Republic of Ireland’s national football team and Ireland national rugby union team, as well as Leinster Rugby.

Aviva Stadium was built between 2007-10, and officially opened just over ten years ago on May 14, 2010. The Dublin-located ground has an all-seater capacity of 51,700 for association football and rugby union, and a capacity of 65,000 for concerts.

The first-ever football match played at the Aviva Stadium was between Manchester United and a League of Ireland XI side which was managed by Damien Richardson on 4 August 2010. The friendly game was won by the Red Devils – 7-1, with Park Ji-Sung scoring the first-ever football goal at the ground.

The first-ever game played by the Republic of Ireland at Aviva Stadium was a friendly against Argentina on 11 August 2010 which they lost 1-0. The first competitive goal at the Aviva Stadium was scored by Kevin Kilbane during a Euro 2012 qualifier against Andorra in September 2010. In addition to hosting the Republic of Ireland’s games, the famous stadium has also hosted many notable tournaments and matches over the past decade.

The first major final which the Aviva Stadium hosted was the 2011 UEFA Europa League Final between Portuguese sides Porto and Braga, though due to UEFA’s corporate sponsorship rules outside the federation, the stadium was referred to as the Dublin Arena for the final – Porto went on to win the clash 1-0.

In addition to this, the Aviva Stadium hosted the 2011 Nations Cup, the Dublin Super Cup, and is due to host four Euro 2020 finals fixtures in 2021 having been postponed this summer due to the current global pandemic. This includes three group games and a round of 16 match.

Tickets to watch Republic of Ireland at Aviva Stadium

The FAI offer fans a season ticket to watch all of the Republic of Ireland’s home matches at Aviva Stadium. Adult season tickets range from €140-240, under-16s are priced at €50, students at €110, and families (two adults, two children) at €330 for the whole campaign.

Friendly matches typically cost between €30-45, while competitive games are set at €40-60.

It was only last month that Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson claimed that the writing was on the wall for Tottenham star Harry Kane.

Speaking after the Lilywhites’ 1-1 draw with Manchester United in their first game after the Premier League’s return, Merson insisted: “When Jose took the job I worried for Harry Kane. He played under Mauricio Pochettino and they had a go wherever they went. There were goals, crosses and shots. He’s going to be playing up front on his own and it’s going to be hard work.

“I think he’ll have a serious think at the end of the season, I don’t see him getting 25 or 30 goals next season the way Jose will want to play. He won’t want to play like he did when he first got in there, where it was 4-2s and 5-3s, no way. He’ll like games like 1-1.”

But after notching a stunning brace against Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, Kane has now scored 13 goals in 18 games under Mourinho’s leadership – that’s a rate of 0.72 goals per game. Compare that to his slightly worse record of 0.69 goals per game under Pochettino (169 total goals in 242 games).

It certainly fits the whole narrative of Mourinho being a defensive specialist to suggest Kane will struggle in one of the Portuguese man’s teams. But instead, the England international, even despite suffering a serious hamstring injury earlier this year, has proven he can score goals at an incredible rate under different types of managers and systems.

And against Leicester on Sunday, he was at his absolute best. First, he made the lung-busting run to help Heung-min Son find the back of the net via a deflected strike; then he looked as clinical as ever with a left-footed strike; and then, he rounded off the perfect first-half performance with a vintage curling effort into the top corner.

It was no surprise that Mourinho reserved huge praise for his star man after the game. He said: “Everybody thinks – I think, you think – he’s a fantastic player, and Tottenham is so lucky to have him because he is the player and the person and the Tottenham boy. He’s really special for us and we want him to be happy. He wants victories and he wants to score goals.”

After claims that he wouldn’t able to achieve great success under Mourinho, Kane has proven that he absolutely can, and has made a mockery of what Merson said.
